About Ciara
Hello! My name is Ciara and I am a first year Psychology student studying at the University of Sheffield. I sat my A-levels in 2024 and received an A* in Psychology . I have a real passion for teaching as it allows me to help students overcome any educational challenges and achieve the grades that I know they are capable of achieving. As I have recently completed my A-levels, I can understand the academic pressure and anxiety that can come from such a stressful time, I aim to help students overcome this with sessions tailored to meet their needs and desires.

I have previous experience tutoring students from the school I attended through a tutoring scheme set up by the school in which I would spend an hour with that student each week working over topic areas where they struggled. I think its important to first highlight any areas in particular where a student struggles, and then identify a technique that works for that student and suits their needs whilst relating any content learnt to the given mark scheme to nail the exam technique. Typical lessons will last for an hour.
