About Morayo
I’m currently in the first year for my Social Policy BSc, having just sat the new Politics A-Level and gotten an A*. Being a student who has just gone through the experience of how stressful A-Levels can be, I hope to offer a certain relatability to students and assurance that getting good grades is possible.
In the summer of 2019, I worked as a teaching assistant to children aged 11-13 with their vocabulary and literature skills in Lagos, Nigeria. This entailed the creation of class exercises, as well as going through them and working with the students to find ways to improve.

My teaching method involves passing on techniques that worked for me during A-Level. My revision methods require ongoing work every weekend, so at the end of the year, the student has a host of revision materials made by them which will work better than blanket forms of revision.
Moreover, I think making politics more relatable and digestible for the student allows them to get enthusiastic and immersed in the subject. The lesson structure would involve a discussion of current affairs at the beginning using social media to digest it, then going through problem areas and making revision materials to recap the knowledge learnt in the lesson. Revision materials could take the form of essay plans, flashcards and mindmaps. If needed, the student can also come to me for help with homework or further feedback on existing essays.
