About Natasha

Going into year 7, I never anticipated that I would develop my passion for languages and that I would pick German for my GCSEs, my A-Levels and even to continue studying at University. If I could share even just an inch of my passion for German with my tutee and allow them to fulfil their goals, my aim is complete!

Having learnt German for the past 6 years, obtaining a 9 at GCSE and an A star at A-Level, I feel confident to tutor in these exams, which I feel very familiarised with, having completed them within the last 3 years. In my A-Levels, I only lost 20 marks out of 400, which is a testament to my abilities, studying methods and my commitment to this language.

I aim to provide a friendly, but professional, judgement-free zone.

About the lesson

What's most important to me, is that students enjoy their time learning German, and are provided with tutoring that is individual to them and tailored to their needs.

For speaking, a combination of general conversation, photo/stimulus cards, and IRP would be practiced. In addition to this, a mixture of translation, reading and listening exercises will be used. We will learn topic-specific and general vocabulary and I'm happy to go over the complex grammar in a way that's simple to understand. Writing tasks as well as A-level writing structure and phrases are key aspects that we will study. Tests will be utilised on occasion, but there is no pressure to be perfect! This is simply so that I can find out what more needs to be done.

Having just started university, this is my first experience tutoring in German. However, I have previously taught basic level acoustic Guitar online.

My lessons are for GCSE students as well as A-Level students. The length of lessons are 30 minutes to 1 hour.
