About Esme

I am an experienced Guitar tutor with 16 years of teaching and a record of training around 300 students from High School, College, and adult levels. I enjoy teaching music in a friendly, simple, and motivating way so students feel confident as they improve.

My teaching philosophy is built on consistency, practice, and positive guidance. I teach important guitar skills like rhythm improvement, chord mastery, strumming patterns, lead basics, and finger exercises. I also introduce simple theory lessons so students understand notes, scales, and song structure.

One of my biggest achievements is helping many beginners play full songs within a short time. Several of my students have performed at college cultural events and online music platforms. Seeing them succeed brings me great joy.

I create a relaxed learning space where students can ask questions and explore music freely. My goal is to help every learner enjoy playing guitar and discover their own musical style with confidence.

About the lesson

My teaching approach for Guitar is shaped by communication, learning-style adaptation, and real-life musical examples. I believe that learning guitar should feel natural and enjoyable, so I create a positive and friendly environment where students can learn comfortably.

I teach essential techniques such as posture, chords, strumming, rhythm, and finger control. Once these basics are strong, we explore scales, fingerstyle, improvisation, and genre-based styles. I use real-life examples from famous songs and performances to show how techniques are applied in actual music. I also include small case studies about how guitarists develop their personal sound.

I cover related subjects including Music Theory, Songwriting Basics, Ear Training, Chord Progressions, Rhythm Studies, and Tablature Reading. These topics build a complete musical foundation that supports guitar learning.

Communication is central to my lessons. I encourage students to share their interests—whether they enjoy rock, pop, classical, blues, jazz, or folk. This helps me shape lessons to fit their musical tastes. I adjust my teaching based on their learning style, giving demonstrations, step-by-step explanations, or audio examples depending on what works best.

Each class includes guided practice, review, and feedback. I help students set short-term goals and understand their progress clearly. My aim is to build their confidence and musical creativity through patient teaching and practical guidance.
