About Hannah-Kate
I have been a nurse for over seven years, and I have been a Flight
Nurse for over three years. Prior to transitioning to Flight, I worked in a busy Level 1 Emergency Department. I love critical care medicine and understanding the pathophysiology behind disease processes.
I have extensive tutoring experience- I tutored throughout high school and college. I have precepted multiple New Grads and new hires to the ED and Flight.

Hi!
I am so glad you are here! I'm here to help you develop the necessary critical thinking skills and knowledge needed to not only pass nursing school but to excel as a New Grad. Nursing school professors are often out of touch with the current practices and responsibilities of a nurse (ie nursing care plans do not exist in the real world!). I can teach you the foundational skills and thought processes that will allow you to advocate for yourself and your patients.
I teach A&P, Pharmacology, Pathophysiology, MedSurg, and other nursing school core classes.
Initial sessions will be spent assessing your foundational knowledge and unique learning style. From there, we will dive into the content and I can help you learn how to think about it how a practicing nurse does.
