About Edward
I am a committed ESL tutor with 15 years of experience teaching High School and College students. I have guided 150–200 students in improving their English skills and achieving academic success.
My passion for education drives me to make learning English practical, engaging, and easy to understand. I focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking, while creating a supportive environment where students feel confident practising.
One of the proudest milestones in my career has been seeing students transform from hesitant learners to confident communicators. Many have improved their grades and performed well in presentations and exams.
I adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning speed and needs. My mission is to help students enjoy learning English and build skills that will benefit them in academics and beyond.

My ESL teaching methodology is adaptive, motivating, and results-driven. I focus on helping students communicate effectively in real-life situations by using real-life examples and case studies from professional, academic, and everyday contexts. Students practise speaking, listening, reading, and writing in structured and interactive ways to improve fluency and accuracy.
Motivation is strengthened through consistent encouragement, achievable goals, and recognition of progress. When challenges arise, I apply problem-solving methods to simplify complex topics and provide targeted exercises. Integrity is a cornerstone of my teaching, and I provide honest and constructive feedback.
Flexibility allows me to tailor lessons to each student’s learning style, pace, and objectives. In addition to ESL, I teach spoken English, business communication, academic writing, grammar, and interview skills.
