About Jaspreet

Hello, I'm Jaspreet Singh. I come from a humble background, having attended a government school where English wasn't emphasized. Despite this, I've always been determined to learn English and took it upon myself to self-educate. My journey led me to work in the call center industry and later with Fortune 500 companies like British Airways and American Express. Through these experiences, I've undergone a personal transformation and understand first-hand the challenges of learning a new language—I've even taken on French myself.

I'm passionate about sharing my knowledge because I believe language is a gateway to opportunities. I want to empower others, especially those who may not have had access to formal English education, to gain confidence and proficiency in the language. My goal is to provide a supportive learning environment where students can improve not just grammar and vocabulary, but also speaking fluency and pronunciation. I know the journey of language learning isn't easy, and I'm here to guide and inspire others along the way.

About the lesson

Non-native speakers frequently excel in English reading and writing but struggle with spoken fluency due to limited practice opportunities. In my teaching, I prioritize not only grammar and sentence structure but also emphasize pronunciation and conversational skills. By fostering an environment where students speak regularly and comfortably, I aim to reduce hesitation and build confidence. Drawing on pedagogical methods from Cambridge University ensures a comprehensive approach to language learning. By the course's end, students can expect to possess a diverse vocabulary and the ability to express themselves fluently, without feeling tongue-tied. This holistic training approach aims to bridge the gap between written proficiency and spoken fluency, empowering learners to communicate effectively in English across various contexts.
