About Parthvi
My name is Parthvi, and I am a bilingual student with a strong academic background in French and English. I previously studied in Montréal, where I developed advanced French language skills in both academic and everyday contexts. I am currently pursuing a bilingual diploma, which further strengthens my ability to work confidently in both languages.
My tutoring approach is structured, clear, and focused on understanding rather than memorization. I help students build strong foundations in grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing structure, and spoken French. I adapt my explanations to each student’s level, ensuring concepts are broken down into simple, manageable steps.
A typical lesson includes a short review of prior material, focused teaching of a key concept, guided practice, and independent exercises to reinforce learning. I finish with targeted feedback so students know exactly what to improve and how to progress.
What sets me apart is my experience studying in Montréal, where I was immersed in a French-speaking academic environment. I do not rely on memorization alone; instead, I emphasize comprehension of grammar rules, vocabulary usage, sentence structure, and oral communication strategies. For reading and writing, I guide students through text analysis, comprehension strategies, and clear writing frameworks. For speaking, I focus on pronunciation, fluency, and building confidence through guided conversation and gradual correction.
A typical lesson begins with a short diagnostic or review of previous material, followed by focused instruction on a specific skill such as verb conjugation, essay structure, or reading comprehension techniques. We then move into guided practice, where I support the student step by step before transitioning to independent exercises. Each session ends with feedback, targeted corrections, and clear objectives for improvement.
What sets me apart is my recent and direct experience with the French academic system and curriculum expectations. As a student myself, I understand the challenges learners face and can explain concepts in a clear, relatable way. My bilingual background allows me to bridge understanding between English and French when needed, making difficult concepts more accessible.
My lessons are designed for elementary, middle school, and early high school students (up to Grade 10) who are learning or strengthening their French skills.
