About Elianna

A little bit more about me, I’m based in Chicago and graduated with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Digital Marketing. I’m passionate about community, mental wellness, and nurturing younger generations to be all-around good humans. In my educational years, I tutored high school and college students in the subjects of Math, Writing, and French. Though I have graduated now I consider myself a student of life, looking for learning and growth in many avenues. The ability to understand and speak multiple languages is extremely valuable, and I’m happy to be able to help students on their learning journeys.

About the lesson

My teaching method is built on active and immersive learning that helps students not only understand French but retain it long term. Instead of memorizing endless vocabulary lists, we work through real conversations, practical scenarios, and interactive exercises that make French come alive. Whether you are seeking support for a class or preparing for an upcoming trip abroad, my goal is to build both your confidence and your fluency. A typical lesson begins with a short review of key concepts to strengthen retention and identify where you need reinforcement. From there, we dive into structured but conversational activities: role-plays, dialogues, and interactive writing or listening tasks designed to expand vocabulary and grammar in a natural, meaningful way. Each session ends with a quick recap and targeted practice strategies, so you leave not only knowing more, but able to apply what you’ve learned right away. I understand the common challenges students face, whether it’s grammar that won’t stick, trouble keeping up with classwork, or nerves about speaking. I design lessons that meet you where you are, while steadily pushing you toward your goals. Lessons are ideal for students of all ages.
