About Alanna
My name is Alanna. I am a final year MIC student studying Gaeilge and religious education. I spent my summers in the Gaeltacht in Connemara, learning Irish firsthand. As I grew older I began working in the same summer college I learned in. Connemara really sparked my love of Irish and since then, I have been fortunate enough to visit all Gaeltacht areas in Ireland, learning of their unique culture and language styles. Upon studying Gaeilge in college, along with my education degree, I have had many opportunities to work with students and in turn pass my knowledge to them. I have also had the pleasure of helping adult learners prepare for their oral examinations in various field (resit of the leaving cert, TEG) I am very fortunate to have had these experiences and feel that they really have given me an advantage in my approach to teaching the language.

Students will engage in private one-to-one lessons, tailored for their individual needs. Students can be ensured a positive learning environment where they are at the heart of the learning at all times. Students will receive notes and time that will ensure they achieve their own personal best - whatever that may be. My goal is simple: give students the strategies, tools, and confidence to achieve the marks they want.
