About Chiara

My name is Chiara, and I was born and raised in Italy, where I lived until recently moving to the UK. Growing up in Italy, I was immersed in the language and culture every day, which has given me a deep understanding of both the language’s beauty and its intricacies. I completed my Italian GCSEs with a grade 8, and I’m excited to share my passion for the language with you! I know firsthand what it’s like to learn a new language, having made the move to the UK myself. I understand the challenges and the rewards that come with mastering a new language, and I’m here to help guide you through every step of the process. My goal as your tutor is not just to teach you Italian, but to help you fall in love with it, just as I did. I focus on creating a supportive environment where you feel comfortable practising. I use a combination of practical exercises, conversation practice, and cultural insights to make the learning process more immersive. I believe that understanding the culture behind the language is just as important as grammar and vocabulary. Each lesson is designed to be interactive, with a focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I also encourage students to set personal goals, so we can track progress and ensure you feel confident in your learning journey.
