About Channing
I am a positive (and talkative) person currently living in Alaska. Italian is my favorite language by far, and I love sharing this skill with others. I lived in Italy and attended school there for a year and have passed the C1 Italian language fluency test. I am currently furthering my education, so I am well-versed in what it means to be a good instructor and am here for an open conversation with my students. I am a big fan of the outdoors and consider myself friendly, easy-going, and driven.

I have learned all of my languages through immersion-style lesson plans, which is what I will use to teach Italian to you! This includes reading, writing, and grammar, but focuses primarily on listening and speaking skills. Flashcards or outside apps may be used for vocabulary and, if available, music and other media will be utilized for an immersive effect. I am available for beginners up to those at a B1 Italian language level.

I believe that materials should be provided for by the instructor when accessible and will not require any further purchases. Online tools will be used and materials required by the student only include a notebook, internet access, and a writing utensil.
