About Marjorie
My name is Marjorie and I'm from the beautiful country of Ecuador.
I learned English in my mid 20's and struggled a lot with it. I decided to travel abroad and work on a charity ship for 1.5 years as a volunteer and it was there that I really learned to speak english with confidence.
I realised that the way we learn languages in school isn't maybe the best way.
I'm excited now to help others with my own teaching method who want to learn Spanish and reach their language goals!

I focus on the practical use of Spanish so that you can progress on comprehension and speaking.
In my method, I encourage the student to completely participate rather than taking notes and memorizing.
In the same way that a baby doesn't start by memorising grammar, I follow the same approach and use language immersion and comprehensible input as preferred methods.
This way, we focus more on building a mental structure of the language and obtaining correct pronunciation.
I look forward to embarking on this language journey with you!
