About Charlotte
I have always had inspirational teachers that pushed me and helped me to achieve the best I possibly could. It is a gift to be able to teach music and something I enjoy sharing with my own students. Seeing students smile and laugh in lessons as we make music together is hugely rewarding. Flute and music teaching is so special and watching students thrive is massively heartwarming.

I have past experience as a flute/piccolo teacher as well as an ensemble/chamber player. I have a 100% pass rate for students who have sat ABRSM/Trinity board exams. Learning an instrument should be a unique and positive journey. I work with students of all ages and abilities planning lessons that are unique to them. This helps them get the best out of their learning. Flute teaching is a huge responsibility, I aim to set each student up with appropriate techniques and skills which will allow them to excel as flautists. I am passionate about encouraging students to explore the joys of learning an instrument and strive to create a calm and nurturing environment, where each pupil feels comfortable to take risks and explore and enjoy their inner musicality.

Deadly! Charlotte is patient, and very kind. She has come up with lots of exciting and engaging ways of helping our 7 year old daughter learn to play the flute and begin to learn the fundamentals of music. We’re so very pleased to have found Charlotte.
