About Megan
I am a current Music Education student, based in Dublin, with 12 years experience in playing the flute, and 3 years experience of teaching private lessons. I am passionate about the subject, and took up teaching to share my love of playing. I value enjoyment and creativity over anything else, and love to learn from my students as much as they learn from me. I have recently come back from teaching children in Africa music, and it inspired me to put myself out there here!
I am patient, approachable, and happy to adapt my teaching to suit each student's experience, goals and learning style.

My lessons are structured, personalized, and designed around your individual goals, whether you are a complete beginner or looking to improve your existing skills. As a music education student with private teaching experience, I combine clear instruction with an encouraging and enjoyable approach.
Each lesson is carefully planned to develop technique, musicality, confidence, and good practice habits, while keeping you motivated and making steady progress. This is employed using a variety of resources and repertoire. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where you can ask questions, challenge yourself, and enjoy becoming a better flute player.
