About Rachel

Hi! I’m Rachel — a passionate musician and dedicated teacher offering private flute and piano lessons. I recently completed my Bachelor’s degree in Medical Sciences and Music Performance at Western University, where I served as flute section leader in both the Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra. I’m also a proud graduate of Earl Haig Secondary School’s Claude Watson Arts Program. With over two years of teaching experience, I help students of all levels build their skills and confidence. I’ve earned Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Level 10 diplomas in both flute and piano, each with First Class Honors with Distinction, and was awarded the RCM Gold Medal for flute in Ontario. I’ve also placed first in the Kiwanis Music Festival. Whether you’re looking for a fun hobby or preparing for RCM exams, I tailor each lesson to support your goals and make music enjoyable and rewarding. Deadly! Rachel is an energetic, enthusiastic, encouraging and student oriented teacher. Her instruction is clear and effective. My daughter, at beginner level, learned to play a brief piece of song from scratch within 90 mins which is amazing. Rachel is highly recommended!
