About Florencia
"Beginners often find the bridge between simple bowing and complex shifting difficult to cross. I spent 7 years performing before transitioning to full-time teaching.
My MMus from Trinity Laban ensures deep technical knowledge of left hand agility. I focus on scales and arpeggios to build your foundation.
Vibrato and double stops add colour to your repertoire. Bowing technique and sight reading are essential for progress. Grade exam prep for ABRSM or Trinity helps structure our work together."

"Technique matters less than the sound you produce. I prioritise musicality over rigid theory from the very first minute. Beginners learn the instrument through movement and ear training. My 7 years of performance experience inform every exercise I assign.
We tackle ABRSM and Trinity requirements by breaking complex pieces into manageable sections. You gain confidence by playing actual music during our time.
I ensure you leave with a clear plan for your next practice session. Mastery comes from consistent, small adjustments to your posture and intonation. I will make sure you sound great."
