About Carine
I am Carine, the owner of Carinestarbakes. This is my baking business which I have been running since 2019. I am a uni student myself, a mum and a wife so I understand how to juggle learning a new skill and finding time to invest in the things and people you love. Having learnt everything I know about baking on my own, I do wish I had a mentor to guide me through. I can be that mentor for you as I am passionate about helping small business cake makers reach their full potential. It all starts with the cake. To grow your business with confidence, you have to develop a unique style that screams perfection. Working with ganache makes that easy.

Looking for passionate students who want to learn how to decorate cakes with ganache. This is a highly versatile medium that uses chocolate to create very stable cakes. You will learn how to make ganache and get all the ratios and measurements for milk, dark and white chocolate. You will also learn how to make adjustments to the recipe to suit weather conditions. Then you will learn how to prepare your ganache to the perfect consistency for use in decorating cakes.
