About Emma

Growing up I was out of touch with my reo tīpuna and my ahurea. This environment motivated me to push myself into all available avenues that could connect me to te ao Māori. My passion is to teach and share my language and culture. My respect for these taonga are why I always strive for the very best. I always teach to my highest calibre.

About the lesson

With my previous tutoring experience, I confident about catering lessons to your own personal learning style. From rote learning to the use of visual symbolism in teaching structures, I am equipped with the tools to teach in a style that will work for you. My culture is my passion and being able to share it is a privilege for me.
Lessons are an hour long and very interactive. I teach beginners of te reo Māori up the early stages of intermediate conversation.
I believe that with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn that anyone can speak te reo Māori.
