About Andrea
I'm Andrea, illustrator for animation and film projects, digital matte painter and visual developer with experience as background supervisor.
I previously worked in London on Cartoon Network's multiple Emmy and BAFTA winning show, "The Amazing World Of Gumball" as background artist (digital matte painter) on season 4 and background supervisor of a team of 6-8 people on season 5 and 6 (over 120 episodes in total).
I also worked as freelancer on various kinds of animation, feature film and illustration projects, commercial and independent ones, produced in Milano and London.

I give photoshop lessons to people of any level of knowledge, from beginner to advanced level.
What you can learn from my lessons:
• Photoshop for photography - Advanced color correction and editing techniques, Adobe Camera Raw, photo retouching, masks and selections.
• Photoshop for Digital Matte Painting - advanced techniques of elements integration, photo manipulation, texturing and lighting with Photoshop (still images or moving images for the advertising, cinema/vfx and animation industry).
• Photoshop for illustration / graphic design - image acquisition techniques, digital painting, various illustrative techniques.
After working as supervisor in a big animation studio like Cartoon Network (where I was responsible for the training of background artists for 2 years), I learnt that lessons need to be flexible and based on the personality of the students.
Every designer, illustrator, animator, photographer, image creator, has a very personal approach both in learning and in putting into practice the information learnt.
Depending on the starting level, style and interest in learning specific techniques of the person in front of me, I will set the lesson in a personalised and effective way, to get to the point quickly and practically, giving advice on both the technical and artistic side of the job.
