I have two years of classroom and online teaching experience, combined with many years of working with students and families as a social worker/therapist. I have taught English Language Arts to over 150 students prior to becoming a science teacher.

I approach each student as an individual and value what they bring to the learning environment. I am able to meet every student where they are regardless of grade level and adapt to each learner's needs and preferences. I see myself as a coach and facilitator in the learning process that is student-centered but also rigorous enough to produce mastery of subject matter.
