About Dr Aakanksha
I am a passionate educator with over 8+ years of experience of teaching students who want to make a career in Psychology or just study it as a part of their school/college curriculum. I have done B.A. Hons Psychology from IP College for Women (North Campus Topper-all three years), MA Psychology from DU, B.Ed. from Central Institute of Education, DU and PhD Psychology from DU. Previously I have taught at Daulat Ram College, Ramanujan College and Lakshmibai College where I started the Dept of Psychology from the scratch. I also run a social enterprise working towards adolescent mental health, i.e. MannRaahi. I have also been a social impact consultant for large scale projects supported by organisations like UNDP/UNICEF/Honeywell Safe School Programs/GIZ etc.
For me teaching is my passion and it gives me immense happiness to stay connected with academia. I come here with a purpose to facilitate and contribute in the journey of future psychologists.

Psychology is a diverse subject with lot of opportunities of linkages with the everyday experience, hence my classes are structured in a way where along with the theoretical comprehension I focus on creating enough room to include every student's personal reflections, queries and socio-cultural background in order to create room for collaborative learning. The batch is small to ensure individual attention to each student. I am proud to share that I also facilitate each of my student's school-to-college transition journey by providing guidance to them regarding more than 50+ career pathways in psychology.
I run different batches for grades 11-12 (all boards), BA hons, and even MA entrance preparation and UGC-NET preparation for Psychology. I also take specialised sessions for adolescents to develop Socio-emotional learning skills, mental resilience and personality enhancement skills.

Aakanksha ma'am is a super amazing and fun teacher. She teaches all the concepts in such practical and skill based manner. I joined her online classes in Class XII. In IX, I had a score of 80%. With her exam focused approach, I secured 98/100 in Psychology. She will make you practice questions from so many perspectives till the time you don't remember everything by heart. She emphasises a lot on how you write answers in exams. Totally recommend her classes if you are looking to ace your psychology paper! :)
