I have a grade 9 in both English Literature and English Language GCSE, as well as an A* in English Literature A-Level - I have previously tutored my peers for their exams which has massively boosted their grades and confidence.

My teaching method involves exploring literary concepts step by step and using tangible examples to help reinforce the pupil’s knowledge. I find it equally important for the student to be able to explain a concept back to me as that way I know they have truly understood it. When it comes to literary texts I like to engage the pupil in the narrative using a variety of resources such as films, articles and critical reviews.
