About MOMOKA

Hi! I’m from Japan and currently living in Australia on a working holiday. I used to work as a flight attendant and also at Starbucks, where I learned the joy of connecting with people from different cultures. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese linguistics and Japanese language education. During my studies, I participated in a Japanese language and culture training program in Australia, where I taught Japanese culture at local schools while learning English.

I also supported Chinese exchange students as a tutor for two years. I truly enjoy helping others and always try to offer heartfelt support. That’s why I’m passionate about creating lessons tailored to each learner’s needs. I’d love to help you enjoy learning Japanese in a relaxed and positive environment!

Since I’m also learning English while living in Australia, I truly understand how it feels to study a new language. So don’t worry if you feel nervous — I’ll be here to support you. Let’s grow and learn together!

About the lesson

I offer personalized Japanese lessons focusing on practical conversation, travel phrases, polite expressions, and anime phrases.
With experience as a former flight attendant, I value good communication and respectful manners.
Lessons are flexible and tailored to your goals – feel free to share what you’d like to learn, and I’ll adjust the lessons to fit your needs.
I don't use any textbooks but I can prepare something which help your learning Japanese.
Let’s make learning fun and stress-free!

I’m usually available between 8:00am and 6:00pm (AEST), but I’m flexible! For example, I’m often free at 8:00, 10:30, 2:00, and 5:30 – just let me know what works for you! If you prefer evening lessons, feel free to ask – I’ll do my best to adjust. I’m available most days of the week, including weekends!

I truly admire how he studies independently using various materials he has prepared himself. I could really feel his strong desire to improve his Japanese, which was so inspiring and made me happy as a tutor.
He’s currently working on using particles more naturally in conversation, and I truly admire his dedication and effort.
