I studied both the underlying causes and events in basic details in secondary school, however I now actively research events proceeding both wars, like technological developments, that would explain why the world went to war twice within the first half of the twentieth century.

My methodology is similar to a lecture, however I would ask the students questions as the lesson went on to ensure they were starting to make connections between different events so that they could begin to understand how these wars started.
