About Maya Elizabeth
Hello! My name is Maya Alvarez-Coyne, I'm from Southern California and I'm currently studying at Stanford University. I've been dancing for over 15 years and love sharing my love for dance. I believe that dance is a powerful medium for expression and personal growth. My teaching philosophy centers on building a strong technical foundation while encouraging creative expression and a deep appreciation for the arts. I strive to create an inclusive, supportive environment where every student feels valued and motivated to explore their potential. Looking forward to dancing with you soon!

With over 5 years of teaching experience I teach all levels and all ages of dancers. As a world champion Irish dancer combined with industry experience as a professional dancer I provide a high caliber of expertise and one-on-one instruction. My teaching repertoire includes technique, fundamentals, and choreography across a variety of styles such as jazz, hip hop, tap, Irish dancing, ballet, contemporary, and jazz funk. Whether a beginner or an advanced dancer, I am dedicated to helping my students achieve their dancing goals.
