About Marcela

I have been in Finance for over 15 years and during that time I've met different individuals from different countries. During my last job I was able to teach University level students about the basics of Finance and how they can make smart decisions based on budgeting. My biggest asset is that I am a Spanish native speaker and it has helped me with establishing lines of communication with different people. During the pandemic I took classes in linguistics and made the decision to study Italian, Japanese & Greek. Being a student has helped me learn that speaking multiple languages is a great tool no matter what job or market you go into. In the hopes that I get to have you as my student, I will do my best to help you develop skills that you can use in the day to day of life and also is used in about 20 countries around the world.

About the lesson

Taking a personal approach and also taking advantage of the 1:1, my lessons are catered to individual needs. Through my plan you will not only understand speech but also will gain the confidence to speak. Level is adjusted to each individual student: Beginner lesson outline sample: - Intro (English to explain how the lesson, by lesson 5 this will be replaced by Greetings & introductions ONLY) - Greetings & Introductions - Vocabulary (5 new words will be introduced each lesson) - Pronunciation - Practice time (10-minute conversation in Spanish to test knowledge) - Writing (Pen pal email: Beginner) - Summary of development will be provided monthly Intermediate Lesson outline sample: - Intro on lesson 1 & 2 (To assess the level in which the student is) - Greetings & Introductions (Spanish only) - Vocabulary (depending on the level of the student) - Pronunciation - Practice time (5-minute conversation in Spanish to test knowledge) - Writing (Pen pal email: Intermediate. Full paragraph only) -Summary of development will be provided monthly Advanced Lesson outline sample: - Intro on lesson 1 ONLY (To assess the level in which the student is) - Greetings & Introductions (Spanish only) - Conversation & Talk - Pronunciation - Writing (Pen pal email: Intermediate. Full paragraph only) -Summary of development will be provided monthly Personalized lessons may be required. Conversation only blocks also available.
