About Xavier
Having played guitar for 10 years, 8 of which were in a church band and 2 of which as worship leader, I have knowledge in live performance and many of the requirements thereof.
I also studied music for 2 years after school and have given lessons to students from primary school to college age.
I therefore have first hand knowledge of what you need to know in order to achieve your personal goals as a musician.

I believe that true music comes from within and am therefore relaxed in my teaching. Knowing that every person is unique, I encourage my students to grow at their own pace and can guide them through every step of the process.
I teach everything from basic playing and technique to advanced music theory and how to apply it to your playing.
I can teach both electric and acoustic guitar and am proficient in both English and Afrikaans. Lessons are aimed at beginners to intermediate players.
A typical lesson will start with brief revision and then lead into relevant practical or theory.
