About Megan

I am a former professional ballerina, longtime ballet teacher, and mother. I’ve taught every age group, but most recently I’ve been working with teens and adults. I believe ballet is fun and for everyone. The joy of movement, the music, and the mind body connection are my favorite aspects of ballet.

About the lesson

I specialize in the Balanchine technique, but can approach lessons more broadly as well. We will spend half the lesson at the barré (or chair) and half in the center. Lessons are customized based on dancer’s background and goals. Additionally, we can incorporate stretching and strengthening exercises as needed.
