About Camilla
I'm a Florida state-certified educator with a Master's degree in Geography and over ten years of experience across public school classrooms and private essay coaching. Beyond the classroom, I've served as an Advanced Placement Reader for ETS, scoring essays on a national scale, and worked as a college admissions essay reviewer for students applying to schools worldwide. A typical session starts with your current draft: I return detailed, prioritized comments on structure, voice, and clarity before we meet live to walk through revisions together, line by line. What sets me apart is ten-plus years split between AP Human Geography/World History classrooms and one-on-one essay coaching, so I teach the reasoning behind every edit, not just the fix.
