With over nine years of experience in higher education, admissions, and academic coaching, I’m passionate about empowering students—especially international learners—to unlock their full potential and thrive academically. I understand firsthand how challenging it can be to adapt to new academic systems and cultures, and I’m here to make that journey smoother, more confident, and even enjoyable. My tutoring style is all about making learning dynamic, personalised, and relevant. I believe that effective tutoring goes beyond simply delivering information—it’s about empowering students to develop critical thinking, independent learning skills, and confidence in their academic abilities. My teaching methodology is personalised and student-centred, adapting to each learner’s unique needs, strengths, and challenges. I use a combination of clear explanations, practical examples, interactive discussions, and targeted exercises to ensure concepts are fully understood. I encourage active participation, regular feedback, and continuous reflection to help students build long-lasting skills rather than just short-term knowledge. Typical lessons last 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s needs and goals. This allows sufficient time for explanation, practice, and addressing any questions or difficulties. With over 7 years’ experience in higher education, admissions, and academic skills coaching — including supporting international students and managing short courses at Middlesex University — I bring both practical expertise and empathy to my tutoring sessions. I am skilled at helping students from diverse cultural backgrounds adjust to new academic environments and excel in their studies.
