About Haneefa
I have a Bachelors in Eduaction (Foundation Phase), and an NC(V) certificate in Early Childhood Developement (ECD). During the years from 2016 - 2019 I volunteered at Red Cross Children's Hospital and Lansdowne Library, I worked part-time at Masjid-Ul Quds as an assistant teacher, and I completed my teaching practicals for ECD at Baby Bear Clubhouse - a preschool in my area.
I would be requested by the preschool to help out during my studies from time to time. In 2022 and 2023 my teaching practicals were completed at Habibia Primary School (Gr2) and Rylands Primary School (Gr3). I am proficient in English and Afrikaans and can offer help in many areas of the language for children and teens. I am someone who tailors my lessons according to how a learner learns.

I like to look for new, exciting ways to present a lesson that is suited to their learning style! I love learning and teaching! I love to create lessons and activities that are exciting and new for my learners. I believe it's important to make learning fun to promote enthusiasm in learners and make the experience of learning enjoyable and memorable.
I use a mindful approach to teaching and put a lot of emphasis on mental health. Learning can be stressful when it feels like you do not understand anything. I make a conscious effort to be gentle and patient when teaching so learners can feel free to learn at their own pace.

Details
I don't charge additional travel cost as I prefer to teach my lessons at home or online. If you would like me to come to your home for a lesson than the fee will need to be paid in advance to cover my travel. If you want to have your first free session at your home then you will be required to pay me R70 for travel cost.
