I met James at equinox sports club in the upper west side of Manhattan. At the time, he was a basketball trainer and I was a member. James stood out to me for his positive attitude and desire to coach and help others. We quickly became friends, and then later coworkers after I became a trainer as well.

James has always stood out to me with his basketball knowledge, skill on the court, but above all else his integrity and professionalism. I’ve taken my own son to his youth clinics and I’ve played a lot of basketball together with James over the years.

James is an excellent Super Tutor. His ability to instill and boost the confidence of the youth is truly admirable. I sought James out to tutor my nephew in basketball. My nephew seemed to have a knack for playing but did not truly believe in himself. I initially booked James for one-on-one sessions, but after the second session, James was able to encourage my nephew to play with his peers, which my nephew did at school. My nephew felt as if his classmates' skill set wasn’t challenging to him, so James and I were able to convince him to join James' group sessions. Let me tell you, my nephew really shined in these group sessions. That was 1.5 years ago, and my nephew is now on the JV team at his school, with considerations for varsity next year as a sophomore. I truly appreciate James for helping my nephew to refine his skills and encouraging him to break out of his shell. I have not only seen improvements in his game but also in his confidence as a young man.
