About Hannah
I am a registered fourth degree blackbelt under Taekwondo Canada and have been a taekwondo student for fifteen years, ten of which I have been instructing within my dojang. I have experience teaching all aspects of taekwondo to all ages and belt levels, and have taught everything from introductory preschool classes to provincially-competitive sparring courses. Outside of the dojang, I have also instructed women's self defence courses and introductory taekwondo classes at local elementary schools, as part of their Physical Education curriculum. Beyond teaching, I have also organized a taekwondo summer camp, worked with Taekwondo Canada and the Kukkiwon to promote black belts within Alberta, and spearheaded a six-month training program for a group of 20 students prior to their black belt promotion test.

I approach taekwondo with positivity, encouragement, and enthusiasm! I will push my students hard to achieve their goals, but their physical, mental, and emotional well-being will always be my priority. I personally think of taekwondo not merely as a sport, but as a lifestyle, and hope that I can spark a similar passion for my students!
