About Aayush
Hi, I’m Aayush. I’m a freelance video editor and online teacher. I love helping beginners, especially kids, learn how to edit videos in a fun, simple, and creative way. Over the past few years, I’ve worked on more than 100 video projects, from YouTube edits to short cinematic-style clips. I’ve learned that editing isn’t just about putting clips together. It’s about telling a story, setting a mood, and expressing creativity. That’s what I try to bring into every class. I teach using easy, beginner-friendly apps like CapCut and Clipchamp. My goal is to make every student feel comfortable and confident as they learn. Whether they’re working on a school project, a social media video, or just trying something new, I guide them step by step and adjust to their pace. My Teaching Approach
I keep my classes creative, simple, and hands-on. I focus on helping kids and beginners feel comfortable with editing tools and enjoy the process. The aim is to make them feel like they’re making something cool — not just learning software. I break things down step by step, and we learn by doing, not just watching.
Teaching Method
I mainly use CapCut and Clipchamp because they’re easy to learn and work well for beginners. I teach through live screen sharing, showing how I edit in real time while the student follows along. Every class includes mini-projects — like making a fun short video, a school project, or something for social media — so students are always applying what they learn. I also focus a lot on storytelling and how to use music and timing to make videos feel more alive.
Class Structure
Each class is 60 minutes. We usually start with a quick review of what we did last time, then learn a new editing skill or effect. I demonstrate it, then the student tries it out. We wrap up with a small creative challenge or video task. I also offer feedback on their edits if they send them between classes.

I’ve worked on over 100 editing projects, and I bring real experience to the table. I don’t just teach how to click buttons — I try to help students understand how to tell a story through video. I’m patient, flexible, and I adjust to the student’s pace. Since everything’s online, it’s convenient for families and great for kids learning from home.
