About Benjamin
Hi! My name is Benjamin Van Huffel. I am French-American, born in France and raised in Washington D.C. I attended a French international school until 9th grade, at which time I switched over to an American school system. This is where I initially found myself enjoying the role as tutor, helping my fellow classmates improve their skills in the French language.
Since then, I have earned a degree in ecology and evolutionary biology and I am currently starting a career in UX design. My passion for helping those learning the French language has always been present. I tutored in French while earning my degree and have learned how to deal with the frustrations that accompany learning a new language.
My aim is to be a resource for you. I will never hold you to any obligations or expectations . Simply, you will be getting out as much as you are putting in. Should you choose to work with me, I assure you to be a friendly face on your journey to French proficiency.

My teaching methods are aimed for those currently taking, or planning on taking, middle school or high school level French courses.
I will initially seek to assess where you currently are, in terms of your current capabilities with the French language, as well as where you aim to be.
From there, I can assist in fulfilling your current goals with learning the language. Whether you're aiming to better your pronunciation, your reading/writing capabilities, or simply getting better grades in middle school or high school, I can help you reach those milestones.
