About Karen
I graduated from a French high school and earned the French Baccalaureate, so I have a strong academic background in the language and a deep familiarity with the French educational system. I am fluent in French and have experience tutoring students with different learning styles and goals.
I am patient, organized, and very encouraging, and I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students can build both their skills and their confidence in French.

My approach is very personalized and depends on each student’s level, goals, and learning style. I try to make lessons interactive and practical rather than relying only on memorization, and I focus on helping students feel comfortable actually using the language.
A typical lesson may include a combination of conversation practice, grammar review, reading comprehension, vocabulary building, and help with schoolwork or assignments. I also like to incorporate real-life examples so that students can understand how French is naturally spoken and used.
What sets me apart is that I grew up in the French educational system, graduated from a French high school, and earned the French Baccalaureate, so I am very familiar with both the language and the academic expectations of French-speaking schools.
I tutor students of all levels, from beginners to more advanced learners, including students who need help with school coursework, exam preparation, conversation skills, grammar, reading, or writing.
