About Pollyanna
Hiya! I'm Pollyanna, and I'm a high schooler who is British, French and Canadian. I enjoy writing, reading, theater and dance. For me, tutoring is about the needs of the student (that's you!) and not the preferences of the tutor (me). I'll accommodate your needs to the best of my abilities and hope you can learn from me, both for real life lessons and schoolwork.

A typical lesson plan with me would start off with 5-10 minutes of you, the student, explaining what you need help with. This would be followed by a few different methods to help learn the material, to see which one is the best fit. For example, if you are a visual, material or auditory learner. At the end of the lesson, we'd do a little recap. I care about my students and will do my best to help you with your schoolwork. I can empathize, still being in school myself, and therefore understand more of the problems typical within a school environment. These lessons are for children and younger teens, approximately from Year 1 (Grade 1) up till Year 9 or 10 (Grade 9 or 10), depending on the subject material.
Preferred online, but can be in person as long as you have your own transportation.
