About Aude
As a tutor, I focus on making French practical, approachable, and tailored to each student’s goals — whether that’s improving grammar, conversation skills, pronunciation, or professional communication. My experience working closely with people in fast-paced, multilingual communication environments has strengthened my patience, listening skills and ability to make learning both structured and motivating. I strive to create a supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable progressing at their own pace while seeing real, measurable improvement.

My teaching approach lies in a mix of reading comprehension, targeting the students' strengths and weaknesses, practicing conversational skills and navigating day-to-day vocabulary and grammar rules. I adapt the content of each lesson to the level of each student (Pre-K to Grade 12 and beyond), its goals and its interests.
I do give a little bit of homework after the lesson, but the goal of each given task is to consolidate what was taught through that day's lesson. It can vary from a couple exercises in a PDF to write a small essay (about 10 to 15 lines) in French about a song, a TV show or a newspaper article chosen by the student.
A typical lesson plan would be:
- Go over the homework that was given previously to make sure the student understood the notions that were taught
- Present the new material in today's lesson and give time to the student to ask all the necessary questions about the subject matter.
- Allowing time for the student to practice by themselves the skills that were taught in today's lesson
- Explain this week's assignment to the student and answer questions they may have.
