About Ivy
I am a French tutor with 9 years of teaching experience and a Master’s Degree in French Linguistics. My passion for languages and communication led me to pursue advanced study in French and eventually dedicate myself to teaching. Working with learners has allowed me to share that passion while supporting meaningful educational growth.
My teaching philosophy centers on clear explanations, active participation, and consistent encouragement. I enjoy helping students strengthen their communication abilities while developing confidence in their skills. Every learner receives lessons adapted to their specific needs.
I believe language learning should be both effective and enjoyable. Helping students connect with a new language and culture is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work. I look forward to helping learners achieve success in French.

My French lessons are designed to help students communicate clearly and confidently while building a strong understanding of the language. I create engaging lessons that combine practical communication with structured learning, making progress feel manageable and motivating. Students are encouraged to use French actively from the beginning.
Lessons cover grammar foundations, vocabulary development, listening practice, pronunciation improvement, reading comprehension, and conversation skills. I also introduce cultural insights and authentic language examples that help learners understand how French is used in everyday situations. Every lesson supports gradual and lasting improvement.
I enjoy helping students become more comfortable expressing themselves in French while building fluency and confidence. Individualized support and regular feedback help learners progress steadily. My goal is to make French learning practical, enjoyable, and rewarding.
