About Emily
I am a teacher, PGCE trained from Homerton College, University of Cambridge. I did my undergraduate in French and German at London University and a Masters in Culture at Exeter University. I have a passion for making the curriculum accessible to all levels of ability and have patience and empathy for the student. I provide clear and concise explanations and enjoy helping students find success.

I have many years of professional experience teaching French in secondary schools and currently work as a Teach First mentor in French at KS3, 4 and 5. I am familiar with the demands and expectations of the different components of the exam. I can help you prepare for the speaking exam which is coming up very soon and help secure you a good grade on the writing paper too.
I work with any level of French and aim to build confidence. I recognise that learning French at GCSE can be demanding and will help you work out effective revision strategies.
