About Amelia
Bonjour, je m'appelle Amelia et j'enseigne le français depuis plus d'un an maintenant. J'étudie l'économie, la politique et les relations internationales à l'université. J'adore tout ce qui est français et je suis passionné par la pratique de la langue. (Hello, my name is Amelia and I have been teaching junior cert French for over a year now. I study economics, Politics and International relations in college. I love speaking French and all things French of course. I got a H1 on my leaving cert in French and a 95% on my oral. I frequently visit France and have a passion for their culture. I love to help students gain a newfound confidence for French, and I am happy to take on any level.

Lessons will consist of in-depth teaching techniques such as improving reading and listening skills. As well as that, we will start from the basics covering all verbs and go over distinction sentences. We will cover all the junior cert curriculum and improve aspects of the oral, setting students up long term for the following leaving cert years to come.
After our first few sessions we will evaluate what sections need most improvement in and work from there. We will cover topics such as blogs, emails, letters and the written section on family, me, pets, work, housework, pocket money, vacation, past - future - present questions etc. We can cater the lesson to what needs most work in.
I correct work and give homework out to help students stay on top of things. Weekly vocab tests will occur and mock junior cert papers created by me. I aim to show students where marks are found and how to 'wow' your marker.
As a full-time college student and working a full-time job on the side, my availability will consist of Saturday and Sunday mornings 9am-12. One-hour lessons.

I am happy to do group grinds with 2 students, the price would then be 40 euro, 20 euro per student.
3 students would be 50 euro, 16 euro per student
