About Livia
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies and a Master of Arts in French Language and Society. Over the past 10 years, I have worked with students from many backgrounds, helping them achieve personal, academic, and professional language goals. My passion for French began through literature, travel, and cultural exploration. Teaching allows me to share that enthusiasm while helping learners discover new opportunities through language. Watching students become confident communicators continues to inspire my work.
My teaching style emphasizes patience, structure, and active participation. I believe students learn most effectively when they engage with the language in meaningful ways rather than focusing only on theory. Lessons are personalized to reflect each learner’s strengths and objectives while maintaining a clear path for improvement. Students receive supportive guidance that encourages both confidence and independence. This helps create a positive and productive learning experience.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French literature, exploring cultural history, and studying language acquisition methods. These interests allow me to bring authentic perspectives into lessons. Seeing students achieve milestones they once considered difficult is deeply rewarding. I strive to create lessons that are engaging, supportive, and practical. My goal is to help learners develop lasting confidence in French communication.

My French lessons are designed to help students communicate with confidence while developing a strong understanding of the language and culture. I focus on listening comprehension, verb conjugation, vocabulary development, sentence construction, pronunciation, and practical conversation skills through engaging and structured learning experiences. This approach allows learners to build practical skills while gaining confidence step by step.
Every lesson is adapted to suit the learner’s goals and current ability. Students interested in travel French practice useful expressions, cultural etiquette, and common communication situations. Learners who enjoy French as a personal interest develop conversational ability while expanding vocabulary and comprehension skills. Activities include listening exercises, role plays, grammar practice, pronunciation work, and idiomatic language exploration. Regular feedback helps students improve accuracy while becoming more comfortable speaking naturally. Consistent practice creates lasting progress.
My goal is to help students use French confidently beyond the lesson environment.
