About Celia

I am a French tutor with 7+ years of experience teaching students across all levels, from beginners to advanced learners. During this time, I have guided 150–200 students, helping them improve fluency, succeed academically, and develop confidence in using French.

My teaching approach is personalised and student-centred. I design lessons that cater to individual learning styles and goals, incorporating grammar, vocabulary, conversational practice, and cultural understanding. I aim to make lessons engaging, practical, and relevant, ensuring that students can apply their knowledge in real-life situations.

I strive to create a positive and motivating learning environment where students feel confident to take risks, ask questions, and express themselves. I also focus on broader skills like communication, problem-solving, and self-confidence to support overall development.

Teaching French is more than a profession—it is my passion. I am committed to helping students achieve measurable progress, develop lifelong skills, and cultivate a lasting love for the language.

About the lesson

I recognise that students have different learning styles, goals, and challenges, so I adapt lessons to match their unique needs.

Empathy and compassion guide my interactions, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable experimenting, making mistakes, and building confidence. Communication is central to my methodology; I simplify grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation while incorporating interactive exercises to strengthen comprehension and retention.

Beyond French, I can assist with related subjects such as writing, literature, and comprehension to provide a well-rounded academic experience.
