About Awa

I’m a professionally qualified Accountant from Ivory Coast with over 7 years of experience in finance and accounting. While my career began in the corporate world, I discovered my true passion lies in teaching and making a positive impact through education. Since 2022, I’ve been teaching French to students (children and adult) up to the university level, helping them build strong foundations and achieve excellent results.

About the lesson

French is my native language, and I completed all of my education in French. I teach children, teens, and adults who want to improve their spoken French, comprehension, and confidence. I have experience helping students:
• speak French more naturally and fluently
• understand and express themselves more clearly
• prepare for workplace or school language assessments
• gain confidence in everyday and professional conversations

My teaching style is patient, supportive, and practical. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level and goals, focusing on real-life communication rather than overly technical grammar. I use a wide range of learning resources and effective methods to help students progress step by step. I can also support learners who are preparing for exams or workplace evaluations by strengthening their oral skills, comprehension, and structure. Ideal for:
• beginners and false beginners
• students who understand French but struggle to speak
