About Cyril

**French lessons from primary school to high school, foreign adults, Brevet and Bac preparation**

Learning French is like building a house. You first need solid foundations (grammar, conjugation, spelling), and then you organize each room so that everything holds together well.

**I offer French lessons adapted to each student:**
- Grammar, conjugation, spelling, writing and oral expression
- Brevet and Bac preparation (methodology and official exam papers)
- Literature: reading notes, literary registers, literary movements and stylistic devices
- Academic support and homework help
- Primary school, middle school, high school (all tracks) and foreign adults who want to learn French

**My first lesson**
I ask the student questions to find out their level, their difficulties and their goals. Then I offer them a tailored program. A primary school student does not learn in the same way as a final-year student preparing for the Bac, or a foreign adult who speaks little French.

**My method depending on your goal**
- **Bac:** I help the student understand and analyze literary texts (stylistic devices, lexical fields, registers, literary movement) to identify the author's message. We work on the methodology for the text commentary, the dissertation and the linear explication.
- **Brevet:** I help the student better understand texts, rephrase them in their own words and build their writing topics (creative and reflective writing).
- **Oral expression:** We talk a lot, we read texts and we discuss a variety of topics. I correct mistakes and I give a grammar or conjugation lesson if a concept is not mastered.

**Understanding texts to express yourself better**
Many students struggle to express themselves because they do not fully understand the texts they study. Starting from the theme covered in class, I therefore study two or three other works on the same theme with them. I ask comprehension and interpretation questions, and I correct their sentence structure mistakes. When the student understands better, they write and speak more easily.

**How I explain**
I explain with simple words, comparisons and examples. During the lesson, the student takes part, speaks and answers my questions so that I can check they have understood. After the session, they receive exercises to practice what we covered.

**About me**
I have a Bachelor's degree in Geography and I have been teaching French for 4 years. I have taught for an online school, for Baytouna Madrassa school and on several platforms, to students of all levels. I have also learned several languages myself abroad, so I know what a beginner feels like.

My goal is simple: to give clear methods, strengthen the basics and give students back their confidence.

Together, we look for the author’s message, the evidence in the text, the register, the literary movement and the stylistic devices.
