About Uma
My name is Uma and I am an A Level student based in Surrey. I study French, History and Politics and have a passion for all of them. I achieved all grades equivalent to As and A*s at GCSE, and am also predicted As and A*s in my A Levels. I have worked in tutoring before at a Kumon centre, and have experience with working with children and teens to achieve success in academic subjects. I am based in Surrey and will do lessons via video calls, working through practice questions, spoken conversations and grammar exercises. I offer a relaxed teaching approach and have flexible hours depending on your schedule. I have tutored French before, and have seen great improvement in their work. I plan lessons in advance based on the student's ability and areas that they wish to focus on, helping to accompany curriculum lessons.
