About Gilwen
I am a 31 year old French woman who also spent 18 years working and living in Germany. I have a strong affinity and passion for languages, and am most happy to share this to all interested. If you are considering hiring me for a minor who is not looking forward to being tutored in either French or German, please ensure to let me know accordingly. I require a consultation (completely free, maximum 30min, preferably online for convenience) with the student before agreeing on tutoring in all cases.

I enjoy using a combination of visual, auditive, and somewhat gamified material and content to ensure learning is adapted to each individual. Before agreeing on a student, I require a pre-consultation (completely free of charge and maximum 30min) to discuss the hobbies, interests, level of knowledge and passion for the language. All ages and levels are welcome. I am also happy to tutor professionals with a focus on terminologies and other specifics as per individual requirements. I passed my Baccalauréat in Hamburg (Germany) in 2010, with a focus on literature, philosophy, and languages (French, English, German, and Spanish). I have since worked in various fields, and have been tutoring students on and off since I was 16. I am currently a freelance tutor for professionals in the UK with an existing knowledge and affinity for French. I am a tutor to a French boy of 12 in France requiring support in furthering his English skills and pronunciation.

Details
Online prices are cheaper than on-site, as I do not have to pay for transport and can enjoy the convenience of my own home. This helps with multiple bookings on the same day. If I am in Paris at the time of a session in the UK, I am happy to make the hour interactive and take my student on a walk with me. Any on-site lessons outside of Brighton and Hove (and Portslade) in the UK will require payment in advance including transport. If you require tutoring for an oncoming test, please let me know and I will prioritise your session for a surcharge for £1 only.
