About Jeanne
My name is Jeanne, I moved to Cork when I was 19 years old. I graduated with a BA in languages at UCC and am currently finishing my first MA in Creative Writing. Next year I'll be doing a second MA in Anthropology. I can fluently speak English and Italian, and I can also speak Spanish. Because learning a language is a journey that I've undertaken since I was young, I know how intimidating and hard it can be to study another language. That's why my main priorities are for the student to feel comfortable during the lessons and for the lessons to be as enjoyable as possible.

My lessons are based on the level of the student and the area of French they want to work on. A first meeting will help to establish the goals and whether they're studying French for an exam, work, or pleasure. Unless the student asks for longer lessons, the lesson will last for about an hour and be a mix of writing and speaking exercises. My aim is also to create an environment where the student will feel comfortable because I think it's the most important thing when it comes to learning another language. I've tutored Spanish students for English during my undergrad and helped students of my BA with their French, but also Italian. I can adapt my lessons to any level so that it can suit the student in the best way possible.
