About Louise
Born in France but raised in Canada and Australia, I adore learning and teaching languages. I am proficient in Mandarin and Spanish, so if English is not your mother tongue, no worries!
I have taught for 3 years, most often one on one. I take very few students every year in order to fully dedicate my time to them.
My most recent student improved her spoken and written French (High-school level) and is now considering attending university in Paris.
I also tutored French Baccalaureate students for general modules (History/Geo/Physics/Philosophy etc.)

My teaching methodology will vary depending on your goal - I plan on meeting my students once, and then cater the following lessons to the concerns, hopes and needs they express from this first encounter.
When it comes down to exam preparation, I mostly give lessons to middle school students (GCSE equivalents).
I try to approach spoken exercices with bilingualism in mind: not necessarily memorising huge amounts of vocabulary, but instead working on language flow and linguistic habits, and perfecting grammar.
I will only speak French in lessons, unless you are just starting :)
